Big Boss on Colors channel has always been one of my favourite shows in spite of new reality shows cropping up like jungle weeds these days. Season 3 is gaining the kind of negative publicity which the first two seasons failed to achieve. I am surprised by the frequency of foul language being used on the
show. It is so high that it is disrupting the natural flow of the show. The director of the show must be tired of the number of times he has to order deletion of the abusive words.

For the last 67 years, we have seen dear Archie unable to take the most important decision of his life. In almost all the Archie comics I have read, there has been always one thing in common and that was Archie’s attraction towards his two girlfriends.

Betty was the homely and caring one while Veronica was the loud, rich, and outspoken one. But finally it seems that Archie Andrews has settled down for the unpredictable Veronica leaving all Archie readers flabbergasted!

The lovely triangle has finally been broken and Archie will be seen proposing to Veronica in the 600th issue of the comic book. Susan Boyle’ notable performance in “Britain’s Got Talent” has sparked a debate about how it feels to be judged by your looks and what role appearances play in our society. It is true that even in this twenty-first century a lot depends on how you look and how much success you will achieve in your life on the basis of your looks.

A lot has been written on the virtues of having a loving heart, cheerful disposition but when it comes to reality, people give too much undue importance to looks. Agreed that being presentable will help you cast that significant first impression but beauty should not make you arrogant and dismissive of others. As they say, “Beauty fades, but a good heart will endure forever”.

But jokes apart, currently the world is bogged down by the latest health threat of swine flu. Swine flu is caused by swine influenza virus and is common in pigs in US, Mexico, Canada, South America and Europe as i read on wiki. Though it does not readily pass to humans but eating improperly cooked pork might land you in heaven or hell! The latest outbreak has been caused by influenza virus subtype H1N1 and if you notice symptoms like cold, cough, body ache, fever, muscle pain, sore throat and the like you must not take any chances if you are residing in the affected area.
