A Boeing 737 jetliner crashed due to lightening and thunderstorm in Bagota, Colombia. It had 131 people overboard and only one person died. This is being termed as a miracle by Times of India newspaper. Although the plane broke into three pieces – as depicted in the picture on the left – all but one passengers survived thankfully.
I am slightly annoyed by the way the TOI is carrying the news. They are stating it as ‘It was a miracle only one person died’. Having worked in the content field myself, I am surprised to read that such reputed newspapers can write reports/articles even without editing them properly. But, what to say they have got only one day to paint the 22 page newspaper green…
