In India, people have to face the day to day problem of water scarcity...
People store it before hand and just imagine the fate of those women in the deserts whose life revolves round fetching water from a well which is many miles away from the home...
Express your gutfeel on how to conserve water... |

The water is a precious resource and we should try our best to save it. It is not that people are ignoring the issue...
A couple of measures to save water are:
1)Do not wash your car with fresh water...instead you can use a wet cloth...
2)In case you have an aquarium at home, and you are changing the water, use the same water for watering the plants...
Any more suggestions guys |

H2O or water is necessary for the survival on earth. The human body itself consists of 70 to 80 percent of water.
Water is essential for life because it is an unusual compound with unique physical properties. Yet, its the most abundant compound in the biosphere of Earth.
Having said that, i would say that water is becoming unfit for drinking due to the contamination and pollution of the rivers. Though now some steps have been taken to conserve the rivers, previously most of the industrial waste was thrown into the rivers. This lead to the eradication of flora and fauna in the rivers.
However, now the people are adopting measures to conserve water like rain-water harvesting and so on.
Some research is also going on which has indicated traces of water on the Mars. Lets hope this solves our water problem. |
