I am back to my blog which was ignored for sometime now!!! This time this blog entry is just a thought on the responsibilities attached with owning a pet. Some people think that pets are just a source of fun. But bringing a pet just for this reason is not a good idea. You have to be caring enough so that the pet does not go into a depression or suffer from behavioral disturbances. And i am not joking, pets especially dogs if not treated well go into depression. They become violent if not trained properly. So all those gearing up for owning a pet, think twice before taking that decision. They are not toys for children.

My dog Beetle is three and a half years old and i can say that i am a proud owner of a loving pet. He has been trained and is friendly even with strangers. But he does have a strong throat :). So apart from taking him for a walk, pampering him after coming home, treating him off and on, my latest task at hand is to find a suitable mate for him.

These are the days of matrimonial websites for humans. A shaadi.com or bharatmatrimony.com is raking the moolah and also proving to be extremely helpful for those who seek partners online.

However, since last year i have been constantly surfing the Internet so that i could get a suitable mate for my dog Beetle. There was no website available for the same. Lately i am getting a little panicky and want to find a mate for him as soon as possible. The reason being that he had a Pomeranian friend who was overrun by a car recently. Whenever i take him for a walk, he will stop and look out for her. This has resulted in me stopping the car wherever i see dachshunds later to find that they are male :( . It seems that nobody owns a female dachshund in Mumbai. Anyways today when i was surfing the Internet again, i came across a dog mating website finally! The website address is www.puppylove.in I have put up Beetle snap and profile on it. Never knew would have to do all this for him. Crossing my fingers that he gets a good mate ;) Anyone who reads this post and owns a female dachshund is welcome to contact me by replying to this post.
