Watch that sneeze!
Came across a very cute cartoon on the Net and thought would share it.

But jokes apart, currently the world is bogged down by the latest health threat of swine flu. Swine flu is caused by swine influenza virus and is common in pigs in US, Mexico, Canada, South America and Europe as i read on wiki. Though it does not readily pass to humans but eating improperly cooked pork might land you in heaven or hell! The latest outbreak has been caused by influenza virus subtype H1N1 and if you notice symptoms like cold, cough, body ache, fever, muscle pain, sore throat and the like you must not take any chances if you are residing in the affected area.
The most disturbing aspect is that this deadly almost fatal disease spreads through just a sneeze from one human to another and hence it becomes difficult to protect oneself. Thankfully in India, there have not yet been any cases reported but the people traveling from US, UK, Mexico are being strictly monitored at the airports itself so that they do not become carriers of the disease. In my lifetime, this is probably the first time that Indians would be scared of traveling to these developed countries. These countries have always had a upper hand in terms of health facilities and the developing countries have to face the wrath of the epidemics most of the times. But this only shows how times have changed. As if the pangs of the recession were not enough, swine flu has providing another blow to the world economy. The markets are plunging all across and shareholders wealth is going down the drain.
But everything has a silver lining, as they say…In US, some fertile brains have come up with an innovative game for kids known as Stop Swine Flu or Sneeze. This video game teaches the kids the precautions and each new level equips them with germ factoids.
But the fact of the matter is that the sooner the spread of this deadly disease is controlled, the better. No one wishes to be a part of a worldwide epidemic.
